Focusing On Connection To your Inner Heart

"Thank you for introducing me to your wonderful 'Painting from Within' class last week. I felt so welcomed by you and the group.

I was really interested in all that you spoke about and have been thinking all week about keeping things simple, gentle breathing and focusing on connection to my inner heart. The thing that resonated with me was your comment that knowledge alone means nothing unless there is the 'practice' of that knowledge actually taking place. I have been frustrated about this aspect in myself for so long. I have learnt so much but feel I have abandoned myself by not practicing what I have learnt.

I have spent the week observing where I am not gentle with myself and others, and when I am mindful, I have practiced gentleness in various ways. I cannot believe the week has passed, I'm eagerly looking forward to the rest of the term."

"Cheryl teaches what she loves and teaches with love. Cheryl gently guides you through the painting process fully present and connected, with creativity, playfulness and humour. Each week I couldn't wait to attend the classes/workshops, giving myself the loving and nurturing gift of re-connecting with myself. Giving myself time, space, allowing, playing, being wildly creative and gentle and still. Each class would start with a class discussion which led to a beautiful gentle breath meditation. Feeling free each week to choose any delicious colour I felt and paint absolutely anything I felt, without judgement or criticism or 'measuring up' surrounded by a group of loving and supportive friends, (some of whom have become life long friends), has been the most transformative experience.

Expressing myself creatively through the painting process has become a way for me to re-connect to my heart and soul and feel alive. It has also allowed me to embrace my vulnerability and fully express my true self, not only creatively but on so many other levels. The painting process exposes who you really are and how you live, it allowed me to become more present and aware in painting and in life. In fact, I loved the painting process so much that I completed Cheryl's teacher training in the painting process.

I would recommend EVERYONE (as we are all born creative) to experience the wonderful journey that the Intuitive painting process can take you on....... straight back to YOU and your heart, that place of stillness where you can access your inner wisdom so you can fully express who you are. Isn't that why we are here? To fully express who we are and share our love and gifts with others?
