suppose you are wondering what being a civil celebrant has to do with painting?

If you have read this website you will have some idea what painting for process is about.

Painting for process is about self-expression, play, energy, feeling comfortable in the unknown, letting go of control, using our intuition by deepening the connection to our innermost and begin to trust the process.

Then we have the freedom to paint without planning, we feel and paint something we can't see, we paint whatever we feel the impulse to paint.

But I also paint to produce a product, which means, it would be great if people loved my paintings enough to purchase them.

So here is where it ties in..... in my wisdom years I decided to go back to study and qualify to become a Commonwealth Authorised Marriage and Civil Celebrant.

Now I can perform weddings, funerals, living wakes, .........and naming ceremonies.

This is the connection of my new work with my painting.

I offer to hand paint baby naming certificates in the images and colours of your choice as something to hang in the babies room.....and as a keepsake.

and painted certificate on canvas board with your chosen images and colours that best suits your child.

A naming ceremony is a warm, loving and joyous event, and a wonderful way to celebrate the arrival of a new born, toddler, teenager, the uniting of step or adopted children within a family or an adult name change all are wonderful reasons to hold a Naming Ceremony.

Parents state their love and commitment to the child, and acknowledge the role of family and friends.

It's an opportunity to honour and invite close friends or family to provide a significant relationship of love and support for the family and take an active part in all aspects of your child's life.

You can make the occasion unique to you and your child through promises, commitments and declarations of what you hope for your child.
